Booking Terms and Conditions:
We strongly advise you read & fully understand the terms & conditions laid out below, before making a tattoo appointment with us.
Upon booking with Globus Gallery LTD you accept & agree to our full terms and conditions, as detailed below:
You are tattooed at your own risk and detailed risks are provided on your aftercare sheet. You MUST have read all the aftercare information before committing to a tattoo booking with us.
No tattoo produced by us will feature any gang related, racist imagery, negative words, or upside down tattoos. All imagery is subject to our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service. We advice that it may not be safe for a foetus, if a pregnant woman gets tattooed for this reason we do not recommend getting tattooed if you are pregnant.
Final design is at Eltons discretion, on occasion he will need to make design allowances, alterations & these will be discussed at detail with you prior to the commence of your tattoo to avoid any confusion. Noting on the rare occasion an alteration or adaption may occur during the tattoo, the skin is the bodies largest organ & can on occasion be unpredictable with accepting a foreign body -in this case ink.
Upon booking you agree to pay the full cost of the tattoo - this includes & isn’t limited to any additional time incurred for additions, alterations, issues which may arise during your session all of which will be discussed with you as they arise, so there are no surprises to you when payment is due at the end of your tattoo session.
The time charge is for all aspects of your session time ( including but not limited to design, skin prep, tattooing, clean up, wrapping up etc) as this is the work required to complete your request.
If you have much tougher skin than normal, weathered skin from the outdoors/chemical, mechanical work environments, or very stretchy skin due to considerable weight loss, thin, damaged, or aged skin, freckled skin, scaled skin from skin issues, pimpled, pockmarked, stretched marked skin, are all unforeseen skin conditions which could add time and therefore cost to to the tattoo.
If any of these match your skin description please advise at the time of booking/enquiring so we can factor this into your tattoo estimate, this will help us be as accurate as possible & so there are no cost surprises which can cause stress and pressure to us and to you.
In the event you require more time then this is chargeable at our hourly rate, all time estimates are an approximation, carefully considered based on your tattoo requirements including but not limited to: placement on the body, the detail involved, style & size of the design, any skin conditions (noted above) & any other alterations & adaptations required.
We strongly recommend NOT getting tattooed if you are on antibiotics, these can be detrimental to the outcome of the tattoo by pushing the ink out of the body during the healing time. Ink is a foreign substance and does not belong in the body. An antibiotics job would be to help rid the body of this foreign material.
If you find yourself in significant discomfort or do not sit well for your tattoo, resulting in Elton having to slow the machine down to a pace that will be more comfortable for you without compromising the the tattoo this also adds unforeseen chargeable time, if any of these conditions arise they will be discussed with you at the time they become apparent.
Behind the ear, on or in the ear, side of the feet, achilles heel, side of the fingers, palms and even tops of the fingers are all very high risk areas and they are all at risk of the ink being rejected, (falling out) in the healing time or within a very short time. The texture of skin in these areas tends to thicken faster and thicker than other areas on the body. These are areas of higher risk which have varying degrees of success depending on skin, environment, work or lifestyle, and luck. They are likely to require maintenance at your own further cost.Small letters and numbers which are no problem to tattoo, are also considered high risk & have a much shorter tattoo longevity before they thicken and become unreadable.
All very small detailed tattoos which are not full colour and have small gaps of empty skin space between the details run this high risk of the ink closing up over time. This is as individual as skin itself but for most it is high risk. Skin age, skin quality, and environment will all play a role in this.
Full colour tattoos have other ink floating in the skin between the lines and within the details which keeps other ink better held in place for longevity. More risks are detailed on the aftercare page.
No one under 13 years of age is allowed to attend your session, no exceptions.
To ensure we provide you with an Epic tattoo, we only allow a maximum of two other people in the studio with you, this assists with effective time management, client & artist comfort to enable us provide you with the very best service, experience & the very best outcome for your new tattoo.
Tattooing requires a high level of concentration, with no interruptions alongside health & safety & biohazard considerations in a tattoo studio, so we politely request you do not bring additional guests along or anyone under 13 years old.
